Two members of the successful throws group at Exeter Harriers travelled to Loughborough for the 5th annual UK Javelin Carnival.

Dominic Allen came within a metre of his best to claim 4th place in the U20 age group with his best throw of 56.38. Dom had all 6 throws well over 50m with his best coming in round 5, and currently stands in 11th place in the National age group rankings.

Amy-Beth Curtis, who a couple of weeks ago set a fine new U15 Devon County javelin record by more than 4m, had a best throw of 30.52 for 9th place, and is also well up the National rankings, currently standing in 8th place.
