MARK PALMER TO COMPETE IN HIS FIRST TRIATHLON AT THE IAADS EUROPEAN CHAMPS

Exeter Harrier, Mark Palmer is once again packing his suitcase to compete in The IAADS (international athletics for athletes with Downs Syndrome) European Championships which this year is being hosted in Porto, Portugal from 11th – 16th October.

Mark, part of the small UK Team of just 2 athletes, will compete in the: 200m, 400m, 800m and long jump.  And, for the first time a triathlon comprising: 100m, long jump and shot putt.  He has been training hard under the supervision of his coaches;  Brian O’Hare, Kevin Skinner and Graham Moncur, and whilst apprehensive is looking forward to competing.
