Sportshall 2014/15 – Grand Finale

posted in: News, Uncategorized | 0

Another successful season saw Exeter Harriers finish in 4th place overall, win 3 age group trophies and come away with 24 individual medals.

At the final meeting we welcomed 9 new athletes who hopefully enjoyed the day and will see again in 7 months’ time for the next season. They played a significant part in a team reduced in numbers through illness and contributed 63 points to the team totals as well as ensuring we could field point scoring relay teams.

Lower numbers meant we could not move up from 4th place but we did enough to move further away from the 5th place team and consolidate our positions in the age group categories.

Many thanks for the numerous parents who officiated throughout the season without which the whole thing becomes impossible.

Photos of the winning athletes with copies for those in the pictures are available in the clubhouse; please take one if you are one of those athletes.

Lastly, good luck to Runa Manby in the Sportshall National Finals in Manchester!

My congratulations to you all!
