More than 900 athletes competed at the South West Schools Competition, on Saturday 17th June, in blistering heat hoping to seal a place on their County Team and compete, in Birmingham, at the English Schools AA National Champs on the 7th & 8th July. This year Devon are able to take 40 athletes, to the Championships, whilst Somerset can take 32.
