Update 17.03.2018 @ 13.31pm
It is with much regret that we have made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s Devon Sportshall league match at Dawlish. The weather forecast is for heavy snow this evening and into tomorrow with the risk of travel disruption
As I said previously the event cannot be rearranged and the results after 4 fixtures will be used to calculate the winners of the categories and age group titles. The prizes will be passed out to the athletes at the Plymouth Spring Warm Up. We also intend to have a raffle at that event to raise funds to send our U13 girls and U15 girls teams to the Regional Sportshall event in Manchester.
I know many of you will be disappointed by this but we cannot take the risk both financially and more importantly with the health and safety of our athletes and families.

The weather forecast for Sunday is not too good with snow showers forecast. We have to make a decision to cancel by tomorrow lunchtime.
At this moment we intend to go ahead unless there is a forecast of heavy snow affecting road conditions. As it is an indoor event it is not such a problem with exposure to the weather, but we would be concerned about travel conditions. WE WILL MAKE A FINAL DECISION TOMORROW LUNCHTIME. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL AND THE WEBSITE
If the event is cancelled it will not be rearranged and the results after 4 fixtures will be used to calculate the winners of the categories and age group titles. The prizes would have to be passed out to the clubs to distribute.
Also assuming the event goes ahead we have been advised there are road works and Sandy Lane access is closed that is the road most people would use to the centre there is an alternative route
If travelling on A379 from Newton Abbot via Teignmouth and Dawlish take a left turn into Elm Grove Road (there is a Catholic Church on the corner) and then first right into Elm Grove Drive and this leads down to the Leisure centre, if from Exeter go past Sandy Lane and turn right into Elm Grove Road and then first right into Elm Grove Drive.
If coming by Coach same directions and then at the end of Elm Grove Drive you can turn right into Sandy lane and still park in the Coach park
