NATIONAL SENIOR BRONZE FOR EMILY!
Emily Tyrrell has exceeded all expectations with superb performances across 5 events by taking bronze at the National Indoor Combined Events Champs in Sheffield.
With new lifetime bests in 60m hurdles, shot and 800m, an equal best in high jump and the only competitor long jumping over 6m with 6.02m, plus an overall pentathlon points best, Emily is selected to compete for England at the Combined Events International in Stockholm, Sweden on 14 February. What a tremendous result Emily.
Also competing over 2 days in Senior Mens Heptathlon was former Harrier Craig Moncur, now with Shaftesbury Barnett, who finished a superb 6th. It's great to see our tradition for bringing on top multi-eventers is still strong.
