HARRIERS AIM HIGH AT THE INAUGURAL KEELY KLASSIC
HARRIERS AIM HIGH AT INDOOR KEELY KLASSIC
Three Exeter Harriers had the honour of receiving invitations to the inaugural Keely Klassic Indoor World Bronze Tour meeting in Birmingham at the weekend.
Cream of the crop was Joshua Taylor's (coach: Lee Farleigh) senior men's 60m hurdles event, with Josh finishing 4th, a fraction off his lifetime best, in a class field. Josh is still an under 20, he was the only U20 in the race, and its great to see how easily he is able to adapt to the higher hurdles with ease.
Finn McLear was 2nd with a solid performance in the 600m, a distance the senior age group rarely run indoors, and Lucy Walliker finished 4th in a small high jump field.
All three athletes have accepted invitations to compete this weekend at the British Senior Indoor Championships, along with Olivia Hayes, Scarlet Livingstone, Emily Tyrrell, and Innes Fitzgerald. Can't wait to see all these wonderful atheletes compete.
